Read further to learn about the 11 different ways you can elevate and personalize your wedding and even make it a little more fun.

1. Wedding Scent

Do you want to have that special thing from your wedding day that will forever remind you of your wedding? Well, the custom-made wedding scents can do that for you! This is something that a lot of people have never heard of before but is a great feature to have on your day. Creating a wedding scent that can be diffused throughout your venue to make the space feel extra special and luxurious can elevate your experience and the guests. The other great thing is that you will forever have this scent and can use it whenever you would like in your home to remind you of your wedding night. There are plenty of companies that you can go and design and create a scent that is perfect for you.

2. Chinese lanterns send off.

We always see the same send offs with sparklers, bubbles, confetti, etc. Are you looking for a new and fresh idea to include for your send off? Biodegradable lanterns can be given to each of your guests for your send off. This creates another unique photo opportunity from your wedding night that our friends and family will always remember.

3. Unique Stationary

Wedding stationary items are constantly evolving and changing. Every day I see a new trend or a new font style that people are using for their menus or a new way to make the bar sign different than the others. There are always innovative ways to create something your guests haven’t seen before and that can create a personal look for you that helps your wedding stand out from others. Some unique stationary ideas could be stone table numbers, watercolor bar signs and menus, newspaper wedding day programs, menus with the guests' names on it as place cards, and fabric bar signs.

4. Custom Plates

An up-and-coming trend that I see a lot would be custom plates. The pretty plates that are uniquely painted, or patterned, or custom to the guests are on the rise and I see a new kind of plate every day. Believe it or not but the color of your plate and its design can sometimes change the look of the entire table. Changing up the traditional white plate is beginning to create some of the most gorgeous table looks.

5. Personalized Bar

The bar used to be hidden in the corner of the room and out of sight but now it is becoming a huge statement piece for the floor plan layout. A personalized decorated bar is a great way to fill space and to make it another pretty thing to look at during your wedding. Placing custom letters on the front of the bar, setting florals around it and on top of it, or having unique bar shelves in the back can all elevate the bar and change its whole look. The bar can easily be beautiful instead of an eyesore. Another way to spice up the bar is to set lounge areas around it or include high top tables and chairs to give it an even bigger upgrade.

6. A fun dessert station

Having a fun dessert station can also change your guest's experience. There are all kinds of dessert ideas for weddings circulating out there right now that you may have yet to discover, until now. Some fun ideas I have seen to give your guests a fun dessert experience would be a gelato cart, boozy popsicles, live crepe station, ice-cream truck, gourmet s’mores bar, cookie dough bar, and my personal favorite a live Italian millefoglie making. For those who don't know the live millefoglie making originated in France but is an Italian favorite and should definitely be a must for any upcoming Italian weddings. It includes pastry chef's creating it right in front of you with layers of puff pastry, creme pâtissier, fresh fruit, and powdered sugar.

7. Monogramming Décor

Monogramming décor seems like a simple idea but try it in some of these ways before you make up your mind! When monogramming décor people think that means putting their initials on a cup or getting a neon sign with their last name on it (which are both still fun ideas)! But monogramming décor can be all the way down to getting custom made napkins with your initials and having matching pillows to go with it on your lounge area furniture!

8. Hand rolled cigar bar.

If you are looking for something fun for the guys to enjoy, try this! This is a fun activity for guests if they do not prefer the bar and you want to add on another cool experience to your wedding night. Hand rolled cigar bars will be a favorite for the guys. This is another new up and coming trend that will elevate the experience and provide entertainment all together.

9. Have your favorite food as a late-night snack.

Everyone is always hungry again at the end of the night. Especially if dinner was at 7pm and the reception is over at 12am. By then everyone is ready to eat again especially after visiting the bar all night. Including your favorite snack at the end of the night is a great way to add one more personal touch. If your favorite snack is macaroni and cheese, there are live action Mac & Cheese bars that can visit at the end of the night to give everyone a snack before they go. There are also gourmet mashed potato bars, pasta bars, and you can even feed everyone a chick fil a sandwich which is always a favorite.

10. Guest painting take away gift.

Takeaway gifts are always complicated. No couple seems to know what they should be gifting their guests and thanking them for coming at the end of the night. Most of the time I see couples giving out soaps, lavender bags, or candles. All of these are great but usually get left at the bottom of their purse and unfortunately most male guests do not want them! Often times I see half of the takeaway gifts left on the table and the bride and groom end up with 30 new soaps. A great thing that everyone is going to be holding onto until the end of the night would be miniature guest paintings. These are perfect and is something personal for the guests that they won’t forget about. This also will be something everyone remembers and will keep forever to have from your wedding night. The artist will usually show up during cocktail hour and spend a few minutes on each painting on a little card. Capturing what their outfits look like and minimal facial details. Leaving it quick but effective.

11. Custom Bride Perfume or Groom's Cologne

Lastly, this idea is just for the bride and groom but having a custom scent made just for you. Wedding perfume or cologne is a new trend that I can understand the hype about. Creating a custom-made scent of your choosing that is just special for your wedding day will make it even more personal. Most of these companies will even engrave bottles for you and make it even more luxurious. This is something you can also keep forever and open it up and wear it on any anniversary or special day to have that wedding day smell again for your partner.
